Mom's Big FIVE-OH
The big secret of the weekend was that my dear, dear father planned a surprise 50th birthday party for his sweetheart to top off my mother's annual trifecta weekend (mother's day, anniversary, birthday). He planned family phone conferences, made assignments, ordered special cakes, planned music, rented tables and lights, and catered the whole she-bang. He is a studly man like that! It really was the cutest thing ever to witness. And yes, she was surprised :)
I also put together a little video of memories and thoughts on and of Debbie -- all by her siblings and children. It was a great addition to a great party! I hope my mom had the best year, yet. Love you, Mama!
