photographic journal

I created a folder of noteworthy or favorite photos for some reason or another, so I thought I'd just slap them all on here and offer a brief description.
Memories... ahhhh!
(The good kind of "ahhh," like after a nice long massage. Not the bad kind of "ahhh," like after scorching your hand on one of the oven racks while trying to retrieve fresh cookies.)
ANYWAY...

I didn't know Steve took this picture until the other day when I was clicking through photos. That was in our apartment at BYU last year. I'm awesome.

We are probably at the airport trying to keep Danny happy. I love this lil' family!

SEEEESTERS! Fern, Beck, Manda... and lil' Lola. I am going to take a wild guess and say this is us sitting on a bed last summer at Aspen Grove. Good times!

The budster at the duck pond at Marbella

The two gentlemen at baby beach in the Dana Point Harbor

Someone obviously LOVES his sunhat

I found this picture of me in the Bellagio atrium at the end of last summer. I told Steve, "I kind of have a crooked smile..." To which he replied, "Yeah."

California Adventure. Ferris Wheel. End of last year sometime.

CA Adventure, again. The carousel of sea creatures is pretty awesome!

Carlsbad Outlets. "Bob the Builder! Can he fix it?" Son LOVES riding this coin-operated hunk of junk. So we pony up the quarters... every... time. And we love watching him love it.

Can't remember if I posted this picture. Not bad for an iPhone pic, eh? This is us at the Coach House in SJC for the band Parlor Hawk. They are sweet. Such good tunes.

Do pictures get any more precious? I think not. Danny parading around with his Dad's watch.

HUGE SLEEPING BABY. When did this growth happen!? So stinkin' precious. It takes every ounce of willpower to not pick him right up and snuggle his little face.

HA! Fell asleep watching Sesame Street on the pillow pet, on the office chair, sitting up with his blankie. If you know this boy, you know this was extremely out of the ordinary.

"MMmmmwwah!" Danny hopped on the stage at church to give this gigantic teddy bear a Christmas kiss.

In-n-Out. One thing I never knew I loved until I married Steve and starting eating food that actually tastes good. I'm so grateful to have cheeseburgers animal-style at my fingertips.

Look closely, You can see the remnants of diaper "residue" on that cute, dimply behind. Don't worry, we were just about to bathe him.

I love our impromptu family iPhone/Photobooth pictures

Such a happy, clean buddy

And, last but not least, the one thing I took most for granted while living in Provo for 6 years.
CAFE RIO. I think I go there once a week now that it is close by. I love it. I love food.

I never knew how much I loved food until I married Steve. So, basically, what I'm saying is that Steve has made my life better in every single way possible. Thank you, Steve, for opening my eyes to the idea of food as a friend, and not a foe.

I love Cafe Rio Pork Tostadas with extra lettuce and a scoop of medium enchilada sauce.

The end.
