heat wave

If seeing "Heat Wave" as the post header made you think of the abc show "Castle", then I applaud you.
However, this post has nothing to do with Nikki Heat and/or Richard Castle's latest thriller.

The past week has been BEYOND beautiful here in sunny SoCal. I have been quickly reminded exactly why I've always been intent on living here for my entire life (or at least the majority of it.... knock on wood.) I am happier, more energetic, more productive, and I enjoy getting out of the house! It's grand.

Later on, we went to Doheny to just lounge on the grass by the beach, play a little volleyball, and shoot the breeze with friends. We spent a couple hours just soaking up the sun and enjoying the cool breeze (and wafting bathroom smells... gross.)
