cold.
that is pretty much the word that could sum up our trip to utah last week.
other keywords include, but are not limited to:
fun, friends, gratitude, family, food, relaxing, snow, ice, shopping, haircuts, and visits.
our trip to utah for new years was eventful, yet relaxing. we got to spend a lot of time with steve's family, which was great. we really miss them! new years eve was spent with the lowe family eating, chatting, and playing with the little kids. it was a riot watching danny play with his little cousin, dylan. they are exactly 6 months apart, but dylan might be a little larger, haha! he is a gonna be a linebacker, that dylie.
we also had so much fun going out with steve's two best buddies and their ladies. oakley and scott are our bestest buds, and brandon and his GF amanda are MFEO. we like them. a lot. steve's mom babysat both nights we went out with our friends, and i kid you not, i felt like steve and i were dating again. good old provo makes you feel young again, ha!
the highlight of the trip was taking danny to get his hair cut at craig's cuts. $7 cuts, baby. he did so good. i got a haircut, too. but not at craig's cuts, haha.
(sidenote: danny keeps climbing on top of the counter behind me and throwing the fruit out of the fruit basket... i just locked him in his high chair)
the night before danny and i flew home, i visited with sarah and madison, my long lost roommates! i love those two girls, and it was so awesome to catch up. sad that i missed a couple girls, though :(
last but not least, the week was full of the classic foodie faves: taco amigo bean burritos, kneaders, maglebys fresh, and la casita.
overall, great trip. we can't wait to come back and visit (in the spring... haha)!
