Old Hallow's Eve

What a fun Halloween we had! I have to say, "Trunk or Treating" is wayyyy more fun than "Trick or Treating." Especially when there's food, treats, games, music, and tons of fun people.

The costumes we saw were awesome. I must make a shout-out to the Hennings for their Mad Hatter, Queen of Hearts, and Alice in Wonderland costumes (and van)! However, cutest costume of the year goes to... drumroll, please.........

I won the Chili Cook-Off! First time ever winning any sort of cook-off in my life! And the best part was that a) I didn't know it was a competition, and b) I made up the recipe as I went along... a dash of this, and smidge of that, and "voila!" Genius.  I was so happy, can you tell??
