San Francisco

We had SO much fun together in San Francisco a couple weekends ago. Steve was working in SF that week, so on Friday afternoon I joined him and we stayed for the weekend -- just the two of us! It was so wonderful to just have some serious alone time with each other. It was our first time away from the Danster, so we were a little worried. From the parentals' report, though, the kid has never been happier than when we were gone! Ha! Go figure. Thanks for babysitting, Grammy and Papa! Danny loves you :) And so do we.

Naturally, our entire trip revolved around food. And so did our trip last weekend, but that's another post. Let's just say I'll be on a diet until Christmas to make up for it! Worth it.

We just happened to be in town the weekend that the Blue Angels

were doing their show in the SF Bay. So awesome!

My first time actually ORDERING seafood at a restaurant. I was feeling grown-up and adventurous. Sadly, it was horrifically overpriced and overcooked. I thought I was safe ordering fish in the small fishing town of Sausalito.

I'll have to try seafood another time... maybe.

All in all, it was a fantastic trip. We had such a fun time going somewhere new with each other? Will we go back? Yes siree, if the price is right.
