We LOVE America!

We had a great 4th of July!

The office got off work about 4pm, so we had the whole night to celebrate with our loves! First, we went to an office party at the park -- CharLee and I got all the food at Costco the day before. We all got into a heated basketball tournament at the park, so everyone headed home to shower before heading into the city to watch the famous fireworks on the Charles River. We carpooled with the Carns and the Attigs downtown and it was so fun! Rascal Flatts was perfoming, 500,000 people were swarming the streets, and the fireworks were awesome.

I have to say the highlight of the night was when we were stranded in traffic on the 6th floor of the train station parking garage. We had 6 adults and one baby in our 5 passenger car. Thanks to Mike and Brittany talking a cop into unlocking a second exit, we high-tailed it outta there after over an hour standstill.... oh yeah, and our car died on the roof and the old couple next to us refused to help us with a jump. SO RIDICULOUS!Us and Jeff and CharLee

I cannot believe it! This is my second visit to your blog because I had the wrong link on my google reader! Well I just read it all and it looks like your having a great time. I love all the pictures and it looks like you've made some yummy things:) please share your cake recipe. I would love to make it for dave's b-day coming up! You guys are such a darling couple and so in love! Love you both!!!
