Minute Man National Park

Sunday has come to be our very favorite day! We get all the time together in the world, a little spiritual upliftment, and we usually have time to rest as well!
This Sunday, we went to the Minute Man Nat'l Park. We went to the visitors center and watched a short movie about the Battle of Lexington/Concord. This battle was the first battle that started the Revolutionary War. The whole park is dedicated to preserving the original battle trail of the soldiers from Boston to Concord. Tons of people walk, bike, and jog on these pretty trails!
On the "Old North Bridge" --
Where the "SHOT HEARD 'ROUND THE WORLD"
was fired by a British Soldier.

This was right off the bridge -- very pretty sight to see

You two are so adorable together! I loved seeing all your wedding pictures. We wish we could have been there with you guys. Tell Stevie that Jesse and McKenzie say hi.
That place looks like it was pretty! And you're right, Sundays are the best. The mall was fun today. We need to keep planning fun activities like that! I'll see you soon!

hey! we went there with jake and sarah while we were in boston, too. very cool. it's such a history-packed place! i love that you love it and make it a part of your whole "experience" there on sundays. it's certainly better than watching hannity's america and hgtv's design star all night (of which i am guilty!). i'm such a bum.
