Noche antes de Navidad
Christmas Eve was perfect this year. My uncle Dave and aunt Jess hosted, and about 40 family members gathered for an early evening of festivities.
We arrived at 2:30 for appetizers, nativity practice, and mingling. Dinner was at about 3:30, the nativity play (organized by aunt Monica, performed by all the kids) premiered at about 5:30, then lastly the gift exchange. We were all packed up cleaned up, and ready to go home by 7:00. It was just perfect. Did I say that already? :)
Man, we really are blessed to have such a wonderful family!
