50 Years Apart

My two favorite D's are (almost) exactly 50 years apart! On Sunday, my Dad celebrated his 50th, and yesterday,  my buddy celebrated his 1st. It was a great birthday week!

My dad looks 10 years younger this year -- he is stylish, spunky, and thin. I think of him as the "thin beast." He is the coolest cat. He works harder than anyone I've ever known. He is the best example to me. He rocks his new Rock 'n Republic jeans. He is the apple of my mom's eye. His idea of fun is working hard on a hobby or cleaning out the garage -- he is just awesome like that. He is the funniest and smartest dad I've ever had.

Danny is the coolest 1-year-old I know. He is my best pal, the goofiest grinner, happiest buddy, fieriest baby, and the biggest blessing I've ever received. Happy 1st, and many more happy birthdays to come! Love ya, my boy.
