Morning in Charlotte
So we had to go to Charlotte this morning (blah...) to visit the doctor because I've been having frequent, hard contractions. I waited about a week before calling -- I didn't want to have to go all the way to the doctor! Finally I decided I should just call.
This was me on the phone with the nurse:
"Um... I don't think this is a big deal, I don't think I'm going into labor or anything, but I know the doctor said to call if I ever have more than 4 contractions in an hour... so I just wanted to let her know that I have been having 4 or 5 an hour for a couple hours at a time everyday for like a week... BUT it's really not a big deal...(please don't make me drive to Charlotte...)"
Steve is probably the best husband in the world. He woke up extra early, spent 4 hours driving me back and forth from the doctor, picked up my Zofran prescription with me, and bought me a churro on the way out (bonus points). Although it's always a long morning when we drive to the doctor, I LOVE spending so much time with my love. He takes such good care of me --Thanks honey :)

Haha. Nope. They made us come. Bah! After a little poking, prodding, and a lab test, everything's fine -- phew!

On another note, the baby hasn't turned. Since he's been upside-down (or right side up?) for months, the doctor didn't sound too optimistic. I am super bummed. I look online everyday at pictures of breech babies and read about the dangers, risks, options... just psyching myself out like usual. I DO NOT want a C-section, and I DO NOT want anything dangerous to happen during the birth. I hope all goes well. The end.
