I Listen to Talk Radio

So lately I've been listening to talk radio EVERYDAY in my car. I never thought it could be so enlightening, educational, and addicting! I am becoming my mother -- yesssssss.

I love listening to RUSH in the morning, DR. LAURA in the afternoon, and GLENN BECK in the early evening. AM 570 KNRS is where it's at -- "Family Values" talk radio! I'm learning more in my car than I am at school. Now I know how my mom and sister are so dang smart!

I'm looking forward to furthering my education via talk radio for the rest of my life. Oh, and when I babysit for the Brothersons, I have Fox News on the whole time because we don't get cable, yet.
YAY for conservatism -- it's just "right".

I love talk radio too! Make sure you listen to a liberal station too every now and then...sometimes they are so WACKO I have to turn it off...but kind of interesting for five minutes. NPR is also liberal but not outright, so I usually pick that one to go back and forth with.

Becca! I'm so touched. Seriously :-). And, I am so excited that you are getting into politics too. It is so much fun to learn about and be able to discuss current events in an educated way. Even when you're not "going to school" you can still learn until the day you die.

My school day goes something like this:

First period is Rush (or Laura Ingram).
Second period is Sean Hannity
Third period is Ukulele lessons
Fourth period is computer literacy (self-taught)

Keep up the good work Becca! I love you and am so proud of you!

Oh, and BTW . . . I agree with Sarah. It's great to fit in a little left-wing radio from time to time. I have been tuning in to Air-America on XM radio. Those people are absolutely crazy. Listening really convinces me more than ever that the right is right and the left . . . isn't.

YAH! you are the best!!! i told ya you'd be hooked after like five seconds. rush is hilarious. i die every time he says "O-BAMA" in that silly low-toned intonation. and dr. laura is good for your "do the right thing" side, but for the next 37 days 'til election day you really ought to listen to the sean hannity show. he's great, too. and don't forget about hugh hewitt! can you get him in UT? go to hannity.com to see which station broadcasts him in p-town.

once again, you're awesome! is steve getting into politics now, too!? he better! =)
I'm the same way. I'll hear a new song at a restaurant with my mom and she knows every word and I've never heard it before!

Ava is going to be that woman who calls Dr. Laura and says that she's been listening since she was 2. I don't know if you've got Michael Savage or Sean Hannity up there, but they're great too.
