i'm the worst. and the best.
first of all, i'm the worst at blogging lately (obviously).
second of all, i got the best compliment in the world at the mall today.
girl in baby store: "Do you have any background in child psychology or experience working with a lot of kids?"
me: "No, not really... I come from a big family, though."
girl: "Well I just have to tell you that I see tons of parents and their kids come through the store everyday, and I've never witnessed such a unique and special relationship like yours and your son's. I love the way you treat and talk to him, and it reminds me of how my sister and I want to be able to raise our kids someday."
the conversation continued with the nicest things any stranger has ever said to me. made my week. granted, it was a relatively meltdown-free trip to the mall. now, if only i could keep up with the blog!
