brain blah

you guys, i seriously have nothing important to say. so i'll just say everything that's been going and whatever else graces the front lines of mind.

• steve is sleeping next to me. in a twin bed. bunk bed, bottom bunk. long story short, i planted this idea in my little brothers' minds to switch bedrooms, and they became so obsessed with the idea that eventually my brother david begged us to make the "switcheroo."  voila, we now live upstairs.
• pros: no more tripping over the trundle bed, no more stepping on steve's face to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, about 10x the space, more natural light, bigger place for danny to play, we're not in the way of my moms 'craft and sew' area, we don't hear people walking in and out of the garage, there aren't kids bouncing on the ceiling, the garbage cans aren't outside our window, steve will have more space to work, and my brothers are stoked to "not have so much to clean!" and be able to "play video games in bed." hahaha! whatever, kids.
• cons: everyone seems to be upset about the switch, steve and i are more than an arms length away at night, the bathroom isn't connected, and my little brother still likes playing on the rolling bunk bed ladders, anddddd.... well, there are more pros than cons :)
• christmas is on saturday. i can't wait to see danny and steve open their presents!!! i still haven't really told steve what i wanted. well, i have, but it's more like wishful thinking than wishlist material. (ahem... baby... cough... house... ahem.)
• danny has been crazy this week. absolutely out of control. love him, though. he is just making me want to duct tape him to the wall.
• sometimes i miss utah. but most of the time i am stoked out of my mind that i never have to wear long underwear or cry to myself because my windshield is iced over. i love living in CA. mild weather equates to happiness.
• looked at pics from hawaii on my mom's camera (all unposed and unaware). sick. we are going on major diets next week.
• i think i want to have another baby. i feel like i've survived round 1 and i'm ready to take on round 2.
• right now i have gas and i am literally watching my stomach bubble around. it looks like i'm watching a baby wiggle around in my tummy. nope, just bubbles.
• danny only cried for 20 mins at 24 hour fitness last week. he stopped for 20. then started crying again. progress.
• i need to plan my babysitting schedule a little better. we seem to keep missing things because i keep forgetting to actually ASK someone to watch danny. or be here while he's asleep.
• i drove around talega today for like 2 hours just imagining my life there. it was awesome. while gallavanting around, i also ran a couple errands and drove around and around to keep danny asleep in the backseat. those minutes of zzz's are priceless lately!
• steve was in canada all last week. i missed him a lot. more than usual. i love him. he is cute. he is cool. and he makes me happy. and he's a good person. and he is smart. you get the idea. i like him.
• i've been hanging out with my college roomie, lauren, a lot lately. she is great. we have fun doing everything and anything. mostly target, costco, and chick-fil-a. how could we NOT have fun??
• i'm tired. goodnight.
