leisurely day if i do so say

Our goal upon arriving in CA was to hit a couple hot spots before Steve started work. I think we accomplished that goal. Our first day was filled with outdoor goodness -- we went to Balboa to walk in the sun, chomp on Balboa bars, and enjoy the beachy breeze. The ride on the carousel with Danny was the highlight of the day. He loooooved it. When the ride was over, I had to pry his poor little fingers off of the horse to get him down -- He did NOT want to get off! We had a great day together.
