seven is my favorite number
I can't believe you are already 7 months old, baby boy! I'm so proud of how much you've grown up these past couple months. You went from screaming and crying 12 hours a day to smiling and playing happily with your mom and dad. Here is a peek at what you are like at 7 months old:
- You can sit up all by yourself
- You put everything in your mouth
- You are obsessed with food -- we can't eat in front of you without feeding you what's on our plate
- You eat anything and everything -- your favorites are peaches, pears, avocados, applesauce, pizza (yes, pizza), steak (just to suck on), mashed potatoes, shredded chicken, Gerber puffs, animal crackers, beans and rice... the list goes on and on!
- You have learned how to throw a nasty tantrum
- You have baby blue eyes
- You've got 2 bottom teeth poking through
- Paper, magazines, newspaper, receipts, etc are your favorite toys
- You love the iPhone
- You wish you were outside every second -- you're always smiling and giggling in the sun
- You kick your legs when you're excited or happy
- You sound like a boy with your deep voice, except when you squeal like a little girl
- You love your sippy cup with apple juice
- Bath time is your favorite
- You still grab our faces and bite our noses
- You are still very sensitive to noises and quick movements
- You make the cutest little pouty face when you get scared or hurt
- You only cuddle first thing in the morning, otherwise you are super wiggly and curious
- You love watching Dora, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, My Friends Tigger and Pooh, and Chugginton
- You like watching your mom cook in the kitchen
- You wish SO badly that you could run around
- You can stand up for unlimited amounts of time
- You are learning to grab with your fingers instead of just your whole hand
- Your absolute favorite toy is your fabric Tigger snap bracelet from the Dollar store! Sadly, we can't find any more of them!
- You hate when we put you in your car seat... every single time.
- You are sleeping 11 hours at night! Your mom and dad are obsessed with that.
