Bottle and Booties

These are our very first official baby things. Steve's sister Tiffany gave us these cute BYU baby booties, and this bottle was a free gift from Motherhood in the mall. It's all we got so far, and (oddly, I'm told) we haven't bought anything else for our little buddy, yet. Am I normal?? Knowing myself, I would say the answer is yes. PS... it was weird waking up and seeing this little bottle on the kitchen counter... I'm so excited :) Oops... Just sneezed. Excuse me for a moment.

No.. not weird at all! Once you start you won't be able to stop, so try to delay it as long as you can! With all the baby showers you are going to get, you really don't need to buy any clothes or anything until after all that.

i think it's smart to wait and see what you get and then see what you still need. like i didn't buy one baby outfit (brad told me to wait til after the shower...) and i'm glad i did. that's 90% of what i got --cute baby girl clothes. but then i needed to go and buy all the other essential stuff, so it was nice that we had the funds to do so...you're getting closer! so exciting! good luck with moving! at least it's not going to be like a million degrees like it is down here. i'm already dying!

Things are always better when they're free!! I love the little BYU booties. I don't think you're weird for waiting to buy things for the baby. If anything i think that people who buy things for the baby BEFORE they even know what they are having (aside from those those who wait to find out at the birth). I find it hilarious when people buy little boy clothes before and then find out they're having a girl. haha
