15 Minutes of Fame? Check.
Today was so fun! I got to be a guest host on abc4's Good Things Utah this morning. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I'm really glad that I just DID IT. I have to say a big "Thank You!" to everyone who went online and rallied the troops to vote for me.
I have to admit, with everything that has been going on lately in our lives -- moving to North and South Carolina instead of Portland (Did I mention this?), getting our apartment packed, having my whole family here in town, battling nausea STILL, and developing the most painful sinus infection of all time -- I had been feeling a little more overwhelmed than excited to be on the show. When all was said and done, however, I was really happy that I just jumped in (literally, I had about 4 seconds to hook up a mic and have someone tell me what was going on -- they kind of forgot I was waiting in the green room!)
It was especially convenient and fun that my family was still in town when the show aired so they could watch before taking off to CA! AND it was so great that Steve, Kristen, Olivia, Brandon, and my mom-in-law Kathy could come join the studio audience. Overall, it was a great experience, and I am so grateful to all you friends and family that supported me. Love you all!
P.S. I still can't wait to have our baby boy -- 5+ months down, 4 to go!
