As of Late
I haven't posted some wonderful things that have been going on lately -- shame on me! Yet again, I have no pictures, but I've kind of adopted this blog as my journal so I feel that writing is still necessary.
Valentines Day: Steve got me beautiful roses, candy (including a "best friends" Winnie the Pooh valentine), and an oh-so-thoughtful card. I got him a cute valentine's candy bag and a nice card. We watched a cheesy chick flick in the morning, went to my favorite Greek restaurant, Aristos in SLC for lunch, picked up a Rocky Mtn caramel apple, and relaxed the rest of the evening. It was a perfect day.
My birthday: We woke up and went to Kneaders for french toast, did a session at the temple (it was nice to feel well enough to finally go!), and hit up $5 footlongs at Subway. Then, Steve surprised me and made me an appointment for an hour massage while he was in class. Later that night, we had some of our friends come over for ice cream cake and to celebrate. Not one barf episode all day -- it was a great day :) Thanks friends, and especially my #1 husband, for making my day so wonderful!
Sunshine: Yes, there have been a couple days of sunshine and 50-degree weather! What a wonderful pick-me-up. The best part of the warmer weather is that I've been able to spend some time walking outside -- I'm embarrassed to admit this, but I've been soooo sore. Who knew walking would ever take any sort of toll on my usually strong body?? My bones are disintigrating. Oh well -- the more I get out and moving, the stronger I'll be. Can't wait for the parks and trails in Portland this summer to keep my large body moving!
Sickness slowing: I have stopped throwing up during the day, now I only do at night, and that's progress. I am getting hopeful again. That helps me feel happy :)
