Our first Christmas tree -- along with an African Santa and Mrs. Claus we inherited from Steve's parents, haha.

The day after we made the drive back to Utah from California, we were supposed to get on a plane to Cancun. I was SOOOO sick, and there was no way we were going to go, but I went to the doctor the day we were set to leave for Mexico, and he gave me some medicine and reassurance. The snow was dumping, I felt sick, and an hour before we had to leave to make our flight, I decided being sick in the sun MIGHT be better than being sick in a dark, cold basement with the snow piling up outside my window.
This is what I did the entire time -- layed in the shade and didn't move a muscle. I popped pills, ate a ton of fresh fruit (an effort to unsuccessfully regulate myself -- pregnancy hormones are whack!), and slept on a lounge chair while Steve played in the waves, layed in the sun, and played pool vball with his buds.
