GREEK Obsession

Mmmm.... tzatziki dip.
My lovely dinner

If you didn't notice, at our wedding reception we served GREEK FOOD. It was absolutely delicious! You better believe Steve and I took a T.O. to sit down and enjoy our dinner. We had a Mediterranean salad, warm and soft pita bread, hummus dip, tzatziki yogurt (personal fave) fresh cut fruit, steak - chicken - pork kabobs, and of course --- GYROS meat (shaved lamb). The lamb was my favorite, for sure!

I was shopping at Costco here in Waltam, MA where we are living for the summer, and I stumbled across some delectable looking pita bread, roasted pine nut hummus, and... YES!... TZATZIKI yogurt dip! I was so happy. I bought a pork tenderloin just to top off the meal I knew I would surely create. I'd try lamb, but uhhhh... that's just a little too adventurous for me. I don't trust myself cooking meat that much in general.

The meal above I created by adding a side of chopped tomatoes and basil to stuff in the pita with hummus, tzatziki, and big bites of pork! I was so proud of myself for making something new, and it was DELICIOUS!!!
